My 30 day Letter Challenge phail. I WONDER WHY I'M STARTING A NEW CHALLENGE 0.0
Day 1- My favourite book
Oooh. Hard one.
I'll probably change my mind sooner or later. There are still books waiting to be read. Their spines tingling in anticipation on the shelves of some library or bookstore somewhere.
Oooh.
I take a sweeping glance at my books.
Hmmm.
I believe my favourite book today(and perhaps for the next few months), will be
Nobel prize-winning author, William Golding's Lord of the Flies.
I'm not going to do a review or anything. So go to wiki if you need more info.
This book is my favourite because...
I get the 'squeeze, squeeze, squeeze' heart-wrenching-ness that I normally get with a good book. The kind that will give me an emotional hangover.
What is 'the kind' you ask?
Well 'the kind' includes all books by Wilde, Orwell, Plath and Woolf.
>.<
Those books that delve into our deep insides. To the very core of us. Books that examine the intricate workings of society. Books that unravel the mysteries of life.
The Lord of the Flies was the most recent book I've read of 'the kind' so it left a lasting impression.
Thus as long as it lingers in my mind- until I read the book of 'the kind', it will remain my favourite by far.
:)
Yay! Day 1's done.
Ooh.
Let's continue with the 30 day letter challenge!(On FB)
